At the end of June the owner of the two much-loved and shamelessly pampered creatures pictured here will be moving from Ely and cannot take them with him. Parting from them will be extremely difficult but will be marginally less so if a good home can be found for them (together).
Harry (as in Potter), pictured above, and Boots, on the right, are half brothers born respectively on the 1st and 8th June 2002. Harry is the extrovert and a born communicator while Boots, who is half as large again as his elder brother, is more introverted and bestows his trust more sparingly. But watch out! He can become ecstatically loving when one has gained his confidence.
Harry & Boots who currently reside in the Cathedral Close at Ely feature in Richard Surman's Cathedral Cats and in the June 2005 edition of Your Cat magazine. I'm not sure whether the cover photo (left) of the recently-released compact edition of Cathedral Cats is of Boots but I think so. There's no doubt about the photograph (below) on the inside cover of Your Cat. Ah, the price of celebrity!
